Financing

Since the foundation of the workgroup Crisisintervention in January of 1997 till September 1st, 1998 is the KID exclusiv privatly financed.

Support came in form of donations from the catholic Church of Barnim and the evangelic Chunrch of Bernau. Privat donations helps as well in the building process of this service and the Hospital of Bernau provided us with rooms for our periodically meetings and other events.

A great contribution performed Mannesmann Mobilfunk with its Mobilfunkdienst D2 Privat : Before our service could start with its work we had the permission to use four Cellulars with out any basic fees.

But we still needed somebody to hedge our Finances. The Caritas/Brandenburg e.V. volunteered to do so. Since the 1st of September 1998 the Caritas did take the responsibilty for our Financing for one year. At the end of October 1998 started the Caritas a State wide collection on the streets and houses for the KID Barnim.

In addition to that are we also talking to health insurance scheme and the county. Also the Interior Ministery donated money for the care in emergency operations.

You should not forget, that in spite of many financing possibilties, the main burden is carried by whom, who are ready to help people day and night - their work is honorary and without payment.
